Roomy and Perfect For Storage!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 48 Gallons is so roomy for all the odds and ends I want to hide. I have some shopping bags that I had in my trunk, but did not want to bring in the house just yet, so Rubbermaid came to the rescue. I put all the bags in the plastic tub, and could really put some more items in it. Some of the items are gifts, so the next step is to put a lock on it and then I'm all set. I have it in the garage and now there are no bags in the way to clutter the house, and the tub looks good in the garage. All I have to do is put my stuff in there and close the lid, out of sight out of mind! I also like the fact that if I needed to tote items in the tub in my 4Runner, it is easy to do so as it fits in the back. My husband has a truck, so if he ever needs to tote anything in a closed container he can easily use this. If I could change one thing about it, I would have some casters on it to make it easier for one person to move instead of needing a second person (if the items inside are heavy) or scraping the bottom on the ground. I do think I have many uses for this tub and it will last for many years to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a place to store some of my extra nonperishable items on my main floor as now that I'm getting older, don't want to make a lot of trips down the stairs to the basement. I have a large porch, so decided to get the Rubbermaid Roughneck Action Packer Storage Box and keep it out there. It's so handy! I just keep my extra supplies in it and can grab something whenever I need it. It has a Lifetime Warranty and Lockable Latches. It has multiple uses.

Q: I see there is a difference in the top half and the bottom half of the length of the box, what is the actual length of the bottom half is the 43.8 the measurement of the top half or bottom half ? thanks

A: The 43.8 is the Top outside dimensions on the 48 Gallon Action Packer. The bottom dimensions are 40.25” on the inside and outside of the Tote.
