      Junk

Hard to refill and goes out after a split second. Doesn't work at all. Igniter very hard to depress. Avoid and get something else.

      Very Disapointed

I bought 2 of these lighters last year and they have both stopped working. I use Ronson ultra Butane fuel. They ignite for a millisecond and go out. I just purged them and am going to CT tomorrow to see if there is a better fuel. Please comment if you had the same problem and found a fix. I really don't see that the gas jets would clog so fast. Each lighter lasted only 2 or 3 nights out before they stopped working.

No, I do not recommend this product.

      Good, wind resistent lighter

After purging the lighter of the cheap butane (turn dial all the way to -, hold upright, press inlet with small screwdriver to purge) I filled it with quality butane (turn upside down, fill, let it warm up). I adjusted the flame until it lit every time. Very nice. Takes a lot of force to ignite (childproofing?) but works well. I would say more wind "resistant" than "windproof" though.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

      • A: I bought two and I'M 13. They don’t ask any questions. I have also bought the Ronson butane lighter fluid at CT. They only searched my backpack, But they have a notice on their door saying they might do that. I don't steal so it's all cool.
