[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these products for free from the Spotted by Petco sampling program in exchange for my honest review. My cat took to this cute bird right away! The fluffy, long tail was super enticing and the realistic bird shape he enjoyed as well. The dental mesh fabric (on the belly of the bird) is a great idea for "scrubbing' their teeth. I feel like your cat would need to be a chewer in order for this feature to make a difference. And it wouldn't be a replacement for proper cat dental care. My cat is not a chewer and really played with it more with his paws. It has enough weight to bounce around but not too heavy for my cat to toss. The feathers are attached well and are holding up to lots of playtime. This bird also has cat nip, which if it did I did not notice my cat reacting to it. And I don't normally give him cat nip so I expected him to act kinda "crazy" when he played with the bird...but honestly there was no difference in that aspect. Cute toy and the dental mesh fabric is different for sure but such a cool idea!
