This RCFH Series Face Guard features a new wire configuration for maximum visibility and reduced weight. This face guard is NOCSAE® approved for both baseball and softball. The face guard also has a powder coat finished that reduces the wire diameter for less obstruction. Fits all RCFH Helmets and includes a chin strap.

Really easy to install. Decent quality, but a bit expensive in my opinion, hence the 4 stars My kid is happy with it, even though he's still afraid of the ball, I know he's safe.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fits the Rawlings R16 series youth helmet nicely, HOWEVER, it fixes the width of the helmet to the size of the mask. The junior R16 helmet fits my boy fine with the mask on, but it's painful to remove off his head(catches his ears) to the point he doesn't like the helmet with the mask on. With the mask off he can pull the helmet off by slightly pulling out the helmet ears w/o a problem. The screws that come with the helmet strip easily. Use a properly sized phillips screwhead or you will strip the screwsheads. Two of the screw stripped while I tried removing the screws.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Rawlings Baseball Face Guard makes me happy because I know my son’s face is safe from a ball attack. Since Covid, the games have been postponed but we still go to the batting cages. It comes with clear instructions for installation. My son says he can see better with this one compared to the one he got from school. Definitely happy with this product when it puts a smile on my son’s face!!!!

The face guard was no different. I would definitely recommend this to parents who worry about safety during baseball games. A ball to the face is no joke.

Q: Is this guard compatible with the Rawlings R16 junior helmet?

A: That face guard would fit the RCFH helmet. If you are looking for a faceguard to fit the R16 Junior helmet, you would want the R16JWG . It is a guard that is not in the program, but the vendor could always do a special order if needed.
