QuickJack 5000TL Portable Car Lift

I was wanting a set of these for 3 years or more. I was waiting for them to go on sale and to have some spare cash at the same time. Well, it finally happened, although I only got $100 off. The only reason that I didn't give a full 5 stars is because when I assembled them*, I found one of the male fittings on the pump to have a bad leak. I contacted Quickjack and they promptly sent me out a replacement fitting. Unfortunately, when I installed the replacement, it transferred more pressure on the other fitting which the began to leak also. I emailed Quickjack again and they requested a video, which I sent them. They quickly agreed with me and sent out another male fitting as well as a spare female coupler. I thought that Quickjack handled the issue as well as they could but it was still a bit of a hassle to have to go through. Now that they are set up and working, I love them! They raise my car a full 24" which is perfect for using a creeper under the car. They feel very safe and seem to be well made. They are very heavy but slide easily enough on my smooth cement floor. There are YouTube videos showing how to easily install roller balls if you want them the glide even easier. I leave them pushed together on the floor and just park right over them. Quickjack sells hangers if you want to store them on a wall. These make maintenance so much easier and safer than jacks and stands. I have 3 vehicles that I maintain and these make it easy to switch from one to to the 'tuther. Yes, I would recomend these to any enthusiast that can afford them. Be sure to measure your vehicle first to confirm that these will fit. * Set-up was very easy. Most of it was already done. The instruction manual should be updated to reflect the fact that these come mostly pre-assembled. You must supply your own fluid. I bought a jug of Valvoline long-life ATF.

Total game changer . Works great. Has enough lift to get under my 1964 Chevrolet Bel Air in my short garage.

After light use, approximately a year or so the cylinders started leaking air and the jacks wouldn’t go down all the way. Have to replace the cylinders ($250 ea) to correct this issue. Should be designed to allow for replacement seals to be installed in the rams.

After setting it up, we didn’t take too long. It works great just me lots of room to get underneath the creeper for changing oil working on exhaust and etc..
