Spider Mite Insecticide

Anyone with a spider mite infestation this insecticide is effective but doesn't seem to last very long. Had to spray a blue spruce tree 3 times before the tree was free.
Don't know if the spider mites will return in the fall but seems to have worked for now. Quite expensive as I used the whole bottle. Will work for other scaled insects as well. Lots of warnings and precautions so be careful when applying.

Q: Is this safe for dogs? Small dog needs to pass by the tree with the aphid problem and I want to make sure that I cause no harm to him.
