Stopped Working Almost Immediately

I had to buy this larger Pond Boss pump because the smaller one I bought before barely pumped any water at all (clearly malfunctioning) and CT refused to give me a refund**. I took this pump home, plugged it in twice to check the flow rate, plugged it in one more time to see how high it was going and it just hummed and never pumped another drop again. It was a brick. Then I had to argue and argue and argue to get a refund, which was only VERY grudgingly given as a "special case". **I think the lawyers at CT need to review the Ontario consumer protection legislation and the sale of goods act..

Q: Can you connect to a garden hose ?

  • A: No.  The pump has a grilled front that allows the water that the pump sits in to be pulled into the pump and pumped out the top of the pump
