Q: What are the steps to take to program the remote? After entering programming mode turn ignition on then off and pess the lock button on the remote dosen’t work on this.

A: Unfortunately, I had to take into a shop for programming, fortunately, as I had been a previous customer, they did it for free.

A: Hi Jordan. I honestly don’t know. It seems these older remote control systems are hard to replace with other models. After a great deal of frustration, I gave up the idea of getting a remote. I have since sold the car and leased a new one.

Q: Hello, I have a 034-0746-6 installed in my 2002 Nissan Sentra GXE. The remote has stopped working properly. Will this remote work with the system that I have? I do not want to buy the 034-0761-8

A: Hello! No, this remote wont be compatible with your system. Only same or one way companion from 034-0743-4 would work. We are a remote start car dealer, that type is obsolete, unless you find a used one somewhere.

A: Prostart 2-Way 5BTN LED 0340796 is a replacement transmitter not a remote start system. If you’re looking for a complete remote starter system you should consider buying one of the three ProStart remote start systems, 0340742, 0340793 or 0340794 and your vehicle doesn’t require an immobilizer override interface. System needs to be professionally installed by your local Canadian Tire store.
