Q: Will a NOMA 100WKIT - 2X011-2514-0 successfully charge and maintain this battery
4 years agoA: Hello, this battery is suitable for deep cycle & solar use. It is difficult to say if the Noma Solar Kit will be able to charge and maintain this battery successfully as that is dependant on the use/draw that needs to be recharged. This panel is able to produce 100W / 5.5A of power under ideal conditions. You'll need to determine (a) how much power your loads draw and (b) how much runtime you'll require between your solar panel fully recharging the battery. Once you know these values, you can find several "online calculators" that can help you determine an adequate battery capacity and if the charge values of the solar panel are sufficient to keep up. Q: Can it be charge by solar power ? I have a solar panel 100 watts with 100 watts charge controler. thanks !
4 years agoA: Hello, There is not an exact answer to your question because of the many variables like panel efficiency, ambient temperature, type of solar controller (e.g. MPPT), age, and condition of the battery to name a few. It’s a safe bet that you should expect to need 18+ hours of direct sunlight to charge this battery to full from a 50% state of discharge with a 100W solar panel. You could cut that time in half by adding a second 100W panel.

6 years agoA: The battery comes factory filled and charged. Charging it for the 1st time is no different than what you'll do when charging it the 20th time - we recommend the use of an automatic 12V battery charger rated anywhere from 10 to 30 amps.
