Selling Dead Battries

Took my old battery out of tractor and drove 30kms to purchase this on clearance. Got there, hauled core into store only to find out the new battery was worse than my core. It was 5 years old and dead. Most likely sulphated. Wasted my time and gas. Would have rated 0 stars if I could. My apologies to the counter man

Q: will this fit a 2005grande marquise

A: No this battery will not fit a 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis. This vehicle requires a Group Size 65 battery, of which Canadian Tire offers many options such as MotoMaster 010-6500, MotoMaster OEPlus 010-6585 and Certified 010-6503. Q: Is the MagnaPower Commercial Group Size 30H Starting Battery compatible with my 2010 Mazda 3 Sport Hatchback? I store my car for 6 months a year and then only use it occasionally in winter. I find an ordinary battery starts to struggle when cold.

1 Answer

A: No, a Group Size 30H battery will not fit your vehicle. An AGM construction battery would help mitigate some of your challenge. AGM batteries have a much lower self-discharge compared to flooded batteries and recharge much quicker. MotoMaster Eliminator model 010-3520 will fit vehicles equipped with an automatic transmission. It may also fit vehicles with a manual transmission but may requiring slight adjustments to the holddown. Of course, the occasional use of a battery charger or leaving a solar panel connected would certainly help.
