Q: what are those little white globules in the pro-mix ? Will this soil helps plants to bloom flowers like hydrangea /peony ?

A: It is perlite. It improves drainage, aeration, and prevents root rot. I have been using pro mix for years, never had a problem with it.

Q: When gardening in containers, do you fill the pot with the mix only or do you mix it with a potting soil?

A: The mix is ready to use. You can use it as is for containers but when using in a garden we recommend to mix it with the soil that is already there so it homogeneous.
