Be careful of the surface you wish to paint

Did not dry-even after 8 days the surface was still tacky. Not suitable for previously painted wood surfaces. I must say the coverage was excellent! it usually takes 2 Coates however only one coat was needed.

Q: I have a pair of plastic outdoor Adirondack chairs that are quite faded. Would this product well on plastic?

1 Answer
  • A: Hi Shirl, Some plastics made of polyethylene are manufactured in a way that may hinder maximum paint adhesion. It is best to test on a small area first. If you do decide to try it, make sure to clean the surface well as chairs are high tough surfaces. Once dry, scuff sand any smooth areas with 220-grit sandpaper. Remove the sanding dust and coat with our Premier Multi-Surface Spray Paint.

Q: How long does Premier Spray Paint Satin take to fully off-gas? I spray painted a plastic part of my project and after 30 hours of drying in a warm storage room, it makes me dizzy when I am near my project part. It's dried, not sticky to the touch.

1 Answer
  • A: Hi Evan, Our Premier Spray Paint will continue to off-gas as it's drying. Full cure is 7 days when drying at 21 degrees Celsius. If the odor is troublesome, we recommend placing a fan nearby to help with air circulation as it's drying.
