Don't buy it!

I purchased this small chain saw few months ago.In the begining it didn't start.SO I went back to the store and they gave me anoth one which worked right away.I cut few branches and kept it in my garage.Three months later again I can't start it and it's over three months and I can't return or exchange.Dont recommend this one.
No, I do not recommend this product.

|This chainsaw was waste of money. I bought this chainsaw on sale and it successfully cut down a single tree. After that, the chainsaw stopped and it is now impossible to pull the pull cord.

vibrate alot, but simple is best!

bought it 3years ago to clear out some land that had a spruce plantation on it. it didnt ran good straight out of the box and i had to wait 30days to get the proper special screwdriver in order to adjust the carburetor. after that it ran like a demon, i have cut about forty five 60feet tall red spruce with it. i always sharpen my chain (free hand) after 3tanks of gaz, flip the bar after two sharpening and give it all a good clean each time i take it off. i use 40:1 mix, the same with all my other 2stroke tools. i grinded the rakers WAY down on the chain in order for it to work at its maximum. its a safety chain and out of the box it doesnt cut. mine is a P3416
pros: it has alot of power, even with the blade fully in the wood it never slows down. with a properly sharpened chain you dont even have to push the saw and big chips comes out.
cons: carburetor badly adjusted from the factory, safety chain and no vibration dampening, after 30mins of working your hand are numb. you need VERY THICK gloves.

It as hard staring when I bought it
I used it for some small trimming jobs, stalled whenever the chainsaw was sideways and had very little power, now it wont start. Pick another brand.

Q: What file do you need to sharpen this chainsaw? I have a chainsaw sharpening jig (Product #54-5624-8) but it does not come with a file. I was wonderiing what file to purchase.

A: 3\8 as per the or as per your blade specification. If you want to see how to sharpen a chainsaw, go to youtube. There are excellent videos there.

A: No. Besides a 33cc engine could not handle it.

Q: What is the return/exchange policy - Warranty for this product? Seems like some people like this saw, some dont. I'd take a gamble on it when its on sale. Like to know what CT's return/exchange policy and the Warranty procedure/time for this saw.
