Q: Easy to install but my tank won’t refill because the flapper doesn’t sit tightly because it’s not flat. What’s the best way to make it supple?

A: I would think a soak in hot (not boiling) water prior to installation would help create a better seal. Otherwise, you will need a different type of flapper valve, as some tsnks take one with a closed bubble/bump on the bottom, while others have a smaller protrusion. Also check the length of the chain to the handle; too long or too short can both cause the valve to not sit properly
