Good birthday present

Good present for a nephew, shipping always super quick. Also its the cheapest to but directly from the website, I also recommend searching around for a discount code for a little extra off. Happy with the product :)

Surfside wooden sand and water picnic table are a must have!:raised_hands:
It was so straight forward and easy to assemble, which took no time at all! The quality is fantastic too.
The kids are completely obsessed with the endless hours of fun.

Great idea but…

My kiddo was so excited to get this table. We’ve had it about three years now, and we would definitely not buy it again. After being outside and getting rained on, the wood completely warped, and the lid will not longer fit on properly. We tried adjusting it, but to no avail. If you’re looking for something that will hold up well in Canadian weather and winters, this is not it.
It’s also a nightmare to empty and clean. There is no easy way to do it. The sand and water go in separate recesses in the table, which is fine, but the recessed don’t have lift out containers. My kiddo loves it still, but we will be replacing it with something else this year.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Great sand table!

It’s really great. The kids are loving the sand table. We didn’t install the water part we just knew our toddler would just throw all the sand in the water. It’s fairly simple to set up and fits a lot of sand using both sides. It closes up very nicely although definitely not waterproof. We just use a mat to put on top to keep the water out. I’m 5’4 and had no trouble sitting with the kids and playing. Great value since we got it on sale would have grabbed another one if things didn’t close due to covid

Big hit with two year old child.

I considered this good value. The pieces were cut well and fit together just fine. The wood is very aromatic, some kind of tropical species. It’s not completely dried, so expect a little movement after you put it outdoors. It was a big hit with a 2 year old grandchild.
Yes, I recommend this product.

A: Although it is not clear in pictures, in description they indicate that there are two pieces to cover sand or water which makes it a cute picnic table. Answer is yes to covers.

A: We bought ours 2 years ago and have left it uncovered year round and it has held up nicely. It looks like you could stain it if desired but it’s not necessary.

A: Hello and thank you for your question. This Plum product has been made from premium timber. Great care has been taken in selecting, treating and machining the timber before it is presented to you. Timber is a natural product and as such may experience changes throughout the course of its life. It has been treated with a colour stain which will fade over time. You are able to purchase similar coloured water-proof stains from your local Canadian Tire store and we suggest that you treat your Picnic Table on an annual basis.

Q: Are either of the sand or water sides removable inserts? How are they attached?

A: The water side has a liner which will attach to the frame with screws. This is optional. Both sides could be used for sand.

Q: Could a plastic rectangle basin be put on the water side and the lid still fit?

A: Hello and thank you for your question. You could put a plastic rectangle basin on the water side of the Plum Sand and Water Table however it may need to have low sides because of the struts on the bottom of the "lid".
