Although using a pie iron is easy and versatile. (Just place it in the coals and cook until toasty.) There are times when it's nice to have a firm cooking surface over the wood or coals and that is when Rome's Pie Iron Grilling Stand comes in. The steel frame has a minimum number of crossbars to reduce weight yet provide a flat surface support for up to 4 pie irons at a time. Folds flat and even fits inside our #R1998 pie iron bag for storage.
