Great Deadbolt with awesome features but would not function correctly

Purchased this deadbolt and installed it on my door after having to enlarge the bolt in the door. And after several adjustments the deadbolt would not fully extend (makes several attempts to fully function and when I tried to unlock the deadbolt it would make several attends again and not fully open (would have to use the key or handle to fully open). Instruction only stated to check alignment with the door jamb - but it acted like it was not powerful enough!
