Pfister Modern Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet, Matte Black

Do not buy. Connector for drop down hose does not click. Returned it and the replacement had the same issue. Store would only issue a store credit even though I had my receipt and both of their products are defective. Anyone who’s ever installed a sink knows it either clicks in or it doesn’t, there’s no special trick or anything to it. The manager told me “maybe it’s just made that way” made to flood the cabinet under the sink at the slightest pressure? Ridiculous that a store can steal your money even though their product does not work.

I recently installed this faucet in our kitchen, we were very happy how well it works, great quality, modern look and easy to install. In addition, we really like the sprayer option which has great pressure compared to our last faucet.

Professionally installed several months after purchasing from Canadian Tire. All working fine for just over 2 days. Hot went to dribble then nothing while cold remained fine. Plumber back confirmed problem in Pfister unit, hose clearing did not resolve so the issue is in the unit itself or the cartridge. 4 days still waiting for new cartridge to arrive from Pfister Canada. (ship time 3-4 days). Still waiting for 3/32 hex wrench, long enough to reach handle mount screw, from Pfister US because not available from Pfister Canada AND not provided as standard maintenance tool in the box with purchase. Note to Pfister put a longer forking screw in the handle mount! If the problem turns out to in fact be a faulty cartridge, then perhaps the reviewer who suggested all units shipped to Canadian Tire are faulty may be correct. If a cartridge replacement does not solve the problem who is going to refund me for this faulty unit AND refund my installation cost??Canadian Tire?? Pfister?? Or am I expected to cover to >$300 for the fun of playing “kitchen-faucet-roulette” and loosing? Will see how this plays out before I start raising questions with consumer agencies and my wide social network.

So glad i hired a plumber! First one was defective. The end of the hose was machined too small to latch into the connector. My plumber took the connector, went back to the store, got another one, opened it in front of the Manager, and it was defective for the same reason. Anyway, got a third one off the shelf, and it was good to go. I love it, it is working great, looks great on my counter, lots of hot and cold water pressure. Hopefully that is the end of the story. On sale for $99.99 plus $200.00 for my plumber. I guess in the end i paid full price. Oh well, all i guy can do is try! Merry Christmas!

really good product, great price (on sale), easy to install. I wish i had bought a metal color to match my sink.
