Permatex® White Lithium Grease is a general purpose lubricant designed to reduce friction between load bearing moving metal parts. For use on metal-to-metal surfaces or a combination of metal-to-plastic surfaces. It protects metal surfaces from rust and corrosion and has excellent water and high temperature resistance.

The product also protects metal surfaces from corrosion. The product is an NLGI 1, and does have a low viscosity to be able to flow and lubricant easily. Q: Can you recommend best grease for fishing reel?
5 years agoA: Hello, thank you for your question regarding fishing reel grease. This can be difficult to answer as lubricating the internal parts of a reel can be a matter of personal choice. Different grease viscosities can change the “feel” of the turning action. As well, there are numerous types of greases that are specifically blended for fishing reels. If you desire an all-around multi-purpose grease for the internal components, a very good option is Permatex High Performance Synthetic Grease (028-0813-2). This grease provides excellent protection against friction, wear and corrosion as well as superior water-washout resistance. It has a temperature range of -28°C to 204°C (-20°F to 400°F) and is rated NLGI Grade 2 GC/LB. Thank you.

Q: Is this suitable for plastic-to-plastic surfaces?
6 years agoA: Hello, thank you for your question on Permatex White Lithium grease. Yes, this grease should be compatible with most plastics. It does not contain acetone or alcohols that may adversely affect common plastics. Thank you.

7 years agoA: 0383713 Permatex White Lithium Grease is not a 100% synthetic product. If you are looking for synthetic, we carry 0280813 Permatex Multi-Purpose Synthetic Grease.

Q: Can you provide the ISO or DIN label number for this grease? (Ideally, this should be part of all the descriptor text for your greases and lubricants) Format might be something like ISO 6743-9, L-XCCEA-2 or DIN 51502, K2K-30
