Plasti Dip aerosol spray offers a convenient way to protect and enhance just about any surface with its synthetic rubber coating. Whether you're looking to give your car wheels a fresh coat, protect interior parts from wear and tear, or want to coat tools for a protective grip, the moisture and chemical resistant Plasti Dip will remain flexible, stretchy and crack-free even in extreme weather. Great for mags

Used plastic dip on last 3 vehicles mags and works great. Had it on one vehicle for 4 years and was a nice as the first day it was done. like any paint job prep is key for long lasting results.
I have always used 1 can per mag. For best long lasting results this what I have found works. Wash the mags with a Heavy degreaser let dry and wipe them down with Isopropyl alcohol 90+ or higher. Rough tape around 1/2" away from mag. Place the cans in a pail of hot water, makes the product thinner and results in a better surface finish. First coat, I only mist the mag. Then 4 to 5 wet coats and be sure to coat the exposed tire beside the mag. If you have less coats the product doesnt seem to last and flakes off. Shack the can often, almost between each spary. Wait 20 minutes and remove the masking and piel off the 1/2" of product on the tire. its alot easier and cleaner looking then trying to mask up to the mag.

This product does not last!!! After two washing the product is all flaking off! So disappointed. I did a lot of prep before applying and to not stay on is frustrating .

After the first coat, it came out of the top of the can and would no longer spray. Do not recommend.

A: I had one can finish all 4 of my 15 " rims each with 5 coats. The recommended coating is 4-5 applications.

A: . Plasti-dip is a rubber like coating that would provide some additional grip to your hockey stick. You would, however, need multiple coatings of the aerosol coating in order build up the thickness.

A: Although plastidip has a rubber compound mixed in the paint solution, it is primarily used to coat tools and other accessories that are hand held for a better grip and insulation. I don’t believe it can withstand outdoor weather and foot traffic on a ramp. It will wear out quit quickly. I do recommend CTC’s “Premium Rubberized Rocker Guard” spray in the car paint spray sectionof the Automotive Dept.

Q: Can this be used on a kayak? I wanted to vinyl wrap my kayak but was told it would not last as soon as I get in the water. Would this be a good alternative to change the colour of my kayak?

A: Although you can spray this on almost any surface, it is made to peel off and may not hold up to running aground or everyday use.

Q: Spray over normal spray paint?? I already spray painted my front grille with normal spray paint. Can i put directly the plasti dip on it without having adhesion problems or do i need to take of the paint and then apply the plasti dip? Thanks

Q: Does plasti dip come in a liquid, not just the spray version? I require a liquid form, like paint in a can, so you could actually dip a small object into it, and then hopefully re-dip if a thicker application is desired?

A: Yes the product does come in spray able gallons and smaller cans for dipping small items.
