Drip drip drip, I need a new faucet

I just bought my house, and the house is approximately 40 years old and the faucet in the laundry tub looked to be double that age. It had sprung a leak and was continually dripping, and when I try to dismantle the existing one, everything was seized up so much that it needed to be replaced. The product I bought was very simple, and was very simple to install. It works perfectly.

Q: What is the measurement for the threaded end of faucet? Can I attach a standard hand held shower hose to it? Or do I need a coupler?
