Great burner

We visited Canadian Tire for something else but stumbled upon this unit. Bought it as we were planning a road trip and we had a single burner stove so it was an upgrade, used it twice so far and it's pretty good. The flame is enough to heat up the pan within mins and the design is pretty cool as it decently blocks the wind.

I am very pleased with this camp stove so far! It's light, portable and compact enough for car camping. I appreciate the wind screen created by the lid and side panels, the attachment for propane tank is easy to install, and the toaster is a nice plus. My only small complaint is that the lid doesn’t stay open on it's own, so when not attached to the side panels it falls back. I didn't expect this to happen the first time I set up the stove, and it only bothers me because I don't want to dent it! Now that I'm aware I will be more careful. Overall, very please with this product.

Q: Can you remove the grates and put in a flat top or grill?

A: The Outbound Aluminum Non-Stick Outdoor Griddle, 16.5 x 10.3-in (#076-5664-0) is something you can consider. It will sit over the grates and the two burners.

Q: Would each individual burner fit a 12" pan? Not 2 together, but one 12" pan on one burner to cook. And Is the stove sturdy enough to hold a cast iron pan?

A: The largest pan that fits on this stove is 10", and it is mainly for cooking. It does not fit a large. heavy cast iron pan. If you are looking to grill, you can also try to Woods grill stove (076-5983)

Q: What's the difference between this one and the regular one besides the name "Deluxe"??

A: The Regular has no stove top. the Deluxe has a stainless stove top which makes easier to clean. recommended.

Q: Sorry I’m from the U.K. and don’t want to get this wrong. What fuel canister exactly is comparable with this stove. We are weekend camping as a family so don’t want to small a canister.

A: I used a smallish Coleman propane canister Net weight 16oz / 453 g (1 lb.) and it lasted over a week of car camping. I think the stove is designed to use these smaller canisters. Just take two.

Q: Can I use a 5 lb propane tank with the Outbound Deluxe Double Burner? The 5lb tank, on your website reads "Fits all QCC1 model barbecues". Will these work together?

A: I don't know. It would probably need an adapter. So far I've only used the small green propane tanks.

A: Yes, Canadian Tire stocks hoses that connect standard 20lb bbq tanks to any stove that uses the small 1lb cylinders. I have this stove and use it connected to a 20lb tank
