Is the connector at the end of the hose firmly attached to the cap? A distinct click is heard when it is attached correctly. If your product has the spout, make sure the spout is sticking straight up. If it gets moved from the straight up position while in use it will not spray either at all or well depending on how much it is slanted. If your product has the twist cap, make sure to turn the knob on the cap to the ON position. When fully in the ON position, you should feel the knob click and the arrow on the knob will point to "ON".

A: Oui, le produit est nocif et particulièrement pour les chats. Ne pas utiliser près des chats. Même après avoir laissé sécher le produit et avoir mis un tapis sur la surface vaporisée, le produit a tué mon chat par empoisonnement. Il faut donc éviter de l'utiliser en leur présence.

A: Obviously if you spray an ant with any pesticide, it will kill it on the spot. Ortho gave a very vague and coverup answer or they are just ignorant about what pharaoh ants are. In fact spraying with a permethrin product will make your ant problem even worse. It is too bad that they can't sell specific products to get rid of pharaoh ants besides the liquid bait with borax in the small bottle which will not work if you live in a big building.

A: I haven't tried it on the lawn but I did use it on several large ant hills beside the grass next to my drivewaand Works really well. I used it to get rid of ant hills between the grass and driveway. We had carpenter ants destroying the deck and it killed them. Early in the season we get hoards of flying carpenter ants around the deck in a euonymous hedge. It kills a good amount of them and hasn't damaged the hedge. The battery operated sprayer is great! Your hand doesn't get tired pumping the spray nozzle and it doesn't break like the typical spray bottles. Shake every few minutes to keep it mixed. If you plan to use it on your lawn you should read the label first to see if it's safe for grass and any wild animals or pets that might chew the grass.

Q: Will this product harm grass? I have multiple ant mounds through out my lawn.

A: I sprayed mostly on cemement but it didn't damage any of my plants from overspray. It is really an effective killer and when I forgot to wear gloves, it didn't irritate my very sensitive skin. ( win, win!) The battery operated sprayer unfortunately didn't last into the second year of use and I did clean it very carefully so that much was a disappointment and slight waste of money.
