Q: what size tap would need to be used? there is no outside measurements for the outer threadsthreads
4 months agoA: Thanks for your inquiry, Jamie. As others have noted, you should use an M8 x 1.25 STI (Special-Thread Insert) tap. Canadian Tire offers a Thread Repair Kit (025-1213-0) that includes the tap.
