Too narrow

3rd purchase of this manufacturer's product over several decades. Suddenly shrinkflashion has arrived. I am not an extra large by any means, but the narrow product is uncomfortable and ineffective. Only purchase if you are thin ( small of xsmall)

Works well but…beware bolsters

It works well for what it does from the pint of view of functionality. But given the moderate side bolsters on my car (Nissan Sentra SR) and the design of the unit, very uncomfortable around the shoulder blades and to some extent, the side of the seat area. Probably better for someone with a standard seat. Forget anything bolstered/bucket.

Love this back support, heats the glutes and has massage for back. However, the wire connection plug in for vehicle
doesn’t stand up in Alberta cold winters so need to buy twice a year.

Q: Can only the heat be used? There are several products that have both massage and heat but for most the massage needs to be turned on in order to get heat. I would like one that will allow me to use only the heat but still has the massage feature.

A: The bottom half of the backrest has a poly-carbonate structure to give it support and shape which depending on the height of the chairs backrest may allow it to stay upright.

Q: Do I have to unplug the seat everytime I stop the car in order for the massage to work? If I do not unplug the seat from the 12V socket the power still comes on but there is no massage or heat. Is there something wrong with this product and I should exchange it?

A: The seat has a safety mechanism that disables it from functioning when the car is not on. If the seat is still functioning when the car is off, please exchange the product at the retailer or contact the Obusforme 1-800 number for further assistance.

Q: What is the Obusforme Model number for the ObusForme Heat and Massage Seat Pad that uses your product number 32-1488-8? I have the Canadian Tire product number but need the Obusforme model number to filll out a warranty card. I gave the item away as a gift so I do not have the box to fill out the warranty for the recipient.
