For a relatively small fan it moves a ton of air. I got this because since having a stroke I have a hard time getting my hands to work together the idea of next to no assembly appealed to merge remote is very convenient even if the beeps are loud. The light is very bright at highest level the fan makes a noticable whinebut not something that bothers me comes with socket extensions if needed.only problem I have had is it unwinds itself a little if not using the extension or not tightened enough but loses power before it would fell out.
