It is 3rd one I got in last several years. All 3 works well long-term. I removed one star as desk clip is weak on this one and metal seem thinner. However it still works well.

Is this a joke?

This thing is literal garbage. The lamp shade grooves don't align so it has no hope of staying attached, the friction knobs might as well be painted on for all the good they do keeping the arm bent at the angle you want and the anti-slip foam pad on the clamp isn't so much glued on as held in place with thoughts and prayers. Canadian tire should skip the middle man and just throw these things into a landfill and save us the trouble. Or better yet, don't stock sub-dollar store tier trash in the first place.

No, I do not recommend this product.
