Q: Is it good enough to keep the birds away from pooping in my yard?

A: Sorry it is too small for that task. I purchased the Noma solar Owl stake and placed under a young sugar maple in the backyard. This location is clear from my bedroom window, therefore in the evening and at night I can be assured that my property is well protected by the clear visible cute owl.
