A: No. It is advertised as having a photocell on the box and website, but what came in the box has no sensor built in. Works just like a standard plug in spot light but with 2 sockets.

A: That will depend on the size of your house if that is where you are putting. I purchased mine for the house. I have a smaller house and it works. I saw one used on the street for a tree and it looked nice.

Q: I purchased the product as the box advertised as having photo-cell technology, however it does not appear to have the functionality. I would appreciate any insight as I require it to shut off during the day to reduce electricity consumption.

A: Canadian Tire asked me to answer the question because I purchased the same thing but ours didn’t say anything about photo-cell however I have my lights etc on timers.

A: They do not have to have the same wattage bulb in each socket. Each socket handles up to 100W.
