Light looked like it was a return?

Bought unit online, the light it self works great.
But when I opened the unit, it looked used.
The wire ends were crushed, which can only occur when attached. I should have returned it, but live an hour away and needed the light. Just letting you know! Nothing required as the light works great.

Q: When it says "dimmable up to 10%", does that mean the lowest possible light output is 10% of the maximum (so 90% reduction) or just 10% reduction of the maximum (so minimum light is 90% of the max... which is practically non dimmable)

A: I have this lamp in my kitchen and it is quite adequate for that, so I bought another for my living room. If well placed, it should be more than adequate for reading or studying. The box states that the color is cool white, 4000K, but seems whiter than that.

A: The light attaches to your junction box in the ceiling. If there is no junction box ,then you can screw it into the ceiling.

Q: I buy two lights SP5627 both are not working after one year. Outer circuit of led not working. Inner circuit has dim light. Some times inner circuit gives dim light when switch is off.

A: Sounds like a wire is either lose or touching the outlet box of the switch. If it is a dimmer switch; the switch itself could be bad. As an extra precaution, I always tape my marette caps too.

Q: If I don't have an existing lighting fixture in my basement, can I still install this light and plug it into a socket? Does it have a plug? Can I install it in a crawlspace with no electrical sockets? What is needed for the install power-wise?

A: This product is meant to be hardwired as it does not have a plug. Perhaps you should consider a battery power lighting option for your crawl space.
