Trash bulbs. Lasted less then two years.

I purchased and replaced a half dozen of my incandescent light bulbs with these NOMA LED bulbs in 2017. Upon replacement I mark each bulb with the date that it was installed. 4 of the 6 bulbs have now failed with very limited (less than 2 hours a day) use. Extremely disappointed as LED bulbs are marketed and intended to be environmentally friendly. How friendly is it to sell trash that doesn't last and ends up in a land fill YEARS before expected end of life.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Dimmable bulbs that don't dim

I bought the "dimmable" LED bulbs to replace regular incandescents in my living room. Swapped out the first one, tested the dimmer switch (still 5 regular bulbs in) and it worked! Unfortunately... once I replaced the remaining regular bulbs with LEDs, they no longer dim. I tried swapping out the bulbs to no avail. Overall, not impressed

No, I do not recommend this product.

Great choice dimmable lights

These LED Softwhite lights are great. Purchased to replace a set of lightbulbs that were too harsh in the bedroom. The Softwhite creates a warm atmosphere and they work great on the dimmer.

Q: Product # I bought MANY of these, in order to switch my house from Incandescent/CFL to LED and this product # (052-1390-0) ISN'T "NOMA" LED Bulbs... It is suppoed to be the brand "FEIT" LED 60W... I have all my invoices to support this fact!

Q: Can these be used in enclosed fixtures? I have heard different answers and the strangest is that they get too hot to be in enclosed fixtures. However, I thought one of the features on an LED light is that they did not get hot. Please advise.

A: We recommend that if this bulb is used in an enclosed fixture that the fixture does not have a gasket (so that the fixture has some air flow). Using this bulb in an enclosed fixture with a gasket / no air flow, could decrease the life of the bulb and also not allow the heat to escape the fixture. LED bulbs do get hot, at the base of the bulb.

A: It is suitable for damp locations, but not specifically for outdoor use. The bulb should work properly in an enclosed fixture as long as it is not “sealed”.
