Disappointing Battery Life

I purchased six packs of the NOMA battery-operated garland lights for my mantle and was very disappointed with the battery performance. Each strand has a very large battery pack that requires four AA batteries, yet the lights only last about 12 hours before they begin to dim significantly. I’ve gone through more batteries than I ever have with any similar product just to keep these running, which makes them impractical and expensive to use. For a decorative product meant to stay lit for extended periods, this battery lifespan is simply not acceptable. The design and look are nice, but the battery pack size and performance need serious improvement. This definitely needs to be fixed.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Don't buy -- battery guzzlers.

I bought these a couple of weeks before Christmas. The battery life is horrible, and they got dim really quickly, We had to change the batteries after about a week -- and that's four AA batteries! How could such a small string of LEDs drain that much power? Worse, I tried to return them to Canadian Tire and was told I couldn't because it was after the 18th, meaning I'm out $20. I told customer service to throw them away since I can't afford to go through that many batteries. I won't buy decorations at Canadian Tire again.

No, I do not recommend this product.
