J’ai acheté cette article pour une réparation temporaire de mon exhaust, l’adhésif ne colle pas, la feuille d’aluminium est beaucoup trop grande et pas assez mince, même avec les collets y’a toujours des ouvertures ce qui ne change rien. En coupant la feuille d’une taille appropriée c’est quand même vraiment pas facile à mettre en place et ça crée toujours des ouvertures. Pourquoi ne simplement pas attacher le collet directement sur la feuille et la faire d’une taille normale en feuille plus mince, ça serait beaucoup plus facile à installer et ça marcherait super bien.

Easy fix at a reasonable price

Used this kit to patch a hole in the pipe between the catalytic converter and resonator. Cleaned from rust, cut by length, applied and affixed within 20 minutes. All tools needed were wire brush, scissors and a small socket driver.

A: Hi There, This kit consists of a 14" piece of heat-activated tape, a 14" aluminum sheet and two worm gear clamps. It is meant as a temporary or short-term repair of a broken or rusted tailpipe. It is a universal fit sheet of aluminum that can be rolled over a pipe as a temporary fix. Thus, the tighter the clamps, the smaller the diameter and vice versa.
