Terrible fireplace, I regret ever buying this.

Terrible product that overheats within a few minutes and shuts down. We bought the 36" Element and 42" for our new build and both were installed to specs. This is the only one that doesn't pull air in correctly and OH. Our builder came and cut not 1 but 2 sides out of our mantle for ventilation and it still overheats. Now we have 2 holes in our beautiful mantle and a fireplace that still overheats. They are talking about having to cut into the side of our new house to vent the back of this thing! Also it was missing the remote when the builder got it and they sent the wrong one for replacement when he called.

I recently installed the Element™ 42 in our living room, and I’m honestly surprised by how much I love it. I wasn’t sure an electric fireplace could deliver the same ambiance as a traditional one, but this unit totally changed my mind.
