This is the perfect travel size bbq. The only downside is the drip tray refills are expensive, use aluminum foil and line the tray yourself. I would reccomend this to anyone.

poor heat and does not stay lit

This model seems to be defective. It did not go above 300 and the flame would go out often. Napoleon would do nothing to rectify the issue after multiple attempts to contact their customer service. Luckily, the store refunded my money. This model has a gaping opening at the back of the lid. the CT website shows pictures with a heat/wind shield but the actual bbq did not have one. I suspect that is the reason for the issues but Napoleon took no responsibility. Other models of this bbq have a shield at the back of the lid.

  • A: If you remember to take the batteries out of your smoke alarm and cut any live wires. Stick the BBQ under your hood fan and don't cook anything you should be ok to use it indoors 😜

Q: What size propane tank?

  • A: You can use those small green one pound screw on bottles. I bought the adapter hose so I can hook it up to a 20 lb propane tank. You can connect any size tank with the adapter. I don't like the disposable green ones as they go empty quicker and then the bbq doesn't work properly and it also isn't very environmentally friendly.
