Murphy's Original Oil Soap Refill, 2.66-L

I have used this wonderful product for years and have only good things to say about it! My home is over 125 years old with lots of original woodwork. Mixing up a container with diluted Murphy’s Oil Soap is an easy way to keep the wood clean and looking great! I trust this product and it does not disappoint. I also love that it has a pleasant scent and does not require a rinse.

Soooooo incredibly disappointed with the change in the formula. If zero stars were an option, I would’ve chosen that. I have used this product for years and years in a variety of ways on floors, wood, and on all my leather products. I didn’t realize they had changed the formula until I cleaned my saddle with it and it completely ruined the finish. Dried it out and made it look bleached. Also left my floors, dull, and hazy.So I started looking things up and realized they had changed the formula. No idea why you would change something that worked so amazingly well. Definitely won’t buy it again. I hope the company comes to their senses and brings the original, actual original formula back. The labeling is extremely misleading.

I agree 100% with LauraN and Jsdj: ie, the Murhpy's oil soap you sell now (for the last few years) is nothing like the old formula. Frankly, you're flat out lying when you make the statement indicating otherwise. It is not at all the same. I've used Murhpy's oil soap for literally 4 decades, for cleaning all of our horses' tack, our boots, and for cleaning all wood surfaces. You used to offer it in a tub, in a thick gel/paste. The liquid back then was good, too. What you are selling now is watery, smells different, and worst of all - it DRIES OUT the leather instead of conditioning it, and dries out the wood, too. If the current owner of the product, Colgate-Palmolive, bought Murphy's Oil Soap brand from the original creator, then C-P needs go back and find the original formula and remove the junk that's on the shelves now. I will not be buying it again, and am alerting our horse owning friends and clients to not use it on their tack or wood. We'd really appreciate you finding and going back to the original formula.... We miss the good old original stuff.

Works excellent on all hardwood floors and makes the house or apartments smell clean too

My first try using this product. It left my vintage solid oak table dull and sticky. I followed the directions using a damp clean cloth but this is disgusting. I was proud of this table. Glad I only bought the small bottle - less money wasted. Yuck.
