Must have to increase points of securement with minimal effort.

Drilled holes in several of these because I did not have bolts. I used six #6 self tapping screws which I had on hand ( travelling abroad ) into the bed of my truck. Travelled 2900km with a mattress, desk, cardboard and plastic boxes fastened with ratchet straps and even with heavy braking and driving over washboard and potholes, the brackets kept everything secure. Easily mounted and it collapses away to mitigate pressure points on cargo when not in use. Simple and strong.

Decent quality and price for what it is. Seems rated accurately although wont be using it to the full limit. Seems adequate for the job I am putting it to.
