Poor design. Ridiculous Price

Poor design. Not easy to use. Ridiculously priced. Very disappointed to find out I can get a box of much more competent connectors from "cheap" local retailers than this.

Thrown straight in the trash

Bought these to add a remote key system to my vehicle. Couldn't even use them. Didn't pierce the wire no matter how hard I crimped it and won't hold a T splice like I need due to the goo inside slipping around. Complete waste of my money

Good concept but clamping pin fell out easily

I've used these before and they worked well. I needed a connector that would be somewhat resistant to moisture so I figured I would try these. Unfortunately the clamping pins slip out of the connector easily and as I was trying to connect the wire, I lost one. but since it was a package of 2 connectors I was still able to complete the job.

Not entirely obvious how to use

As supplied in the package, I had to look closely at how this connector is to be mounted over an existing feed wire. I needed a magnifying glass to realize that there is a second "hinge" that, when opened, allows the feeding wire to be inserted. Would have been helpful if the tap connector was packaged in the fully open position, or if there was a simple installation diagram on the package.
