Q: What does 1200 lb capacity mean? Does it mean that the bolt cutters cannot cut through the d-ring?

A: 1200 lb is the break strength of this product. The diameter of the d-ring is 0.236inch. We think the bolt cutters can cut through the d-ring if you choose the appropriate bolt cutters.
