Q: Does the cartridge come with a new restrainer clip? While I was taking mine apart I lost the restrainer clip

Q: How do you replace the cartridge when its been in there for 20 years???

A replacement cartridge comes with a removal tool which allows you to remove the cartridge. A: I have installed my own and it is not hard. As long as you can have easy access to the pipes. Make sure you put enought teflon tape not to have to take it apart because of leaks.
