Bought 2 of these - Both Broke

I bought 2 of these jacks. Both of them broke due to mechanical failure. Where the jack arm meets the jack broke on both jack's (in different places). The jack is made cheaply out of cheap materials.

Worst Positioning Ever

Bought it on sale and returned immediately after. The contact patch is very small, which makes it hard to position exactly under the car rail. It will also only lift when you swing it all the way from top to bottom, making small adjustments difficult, like when you position it under the car...

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Can this jack lower a car gradually or does it suddenly drop it down?

  • A: Assuming yours still holds pressure, yes you can control the rate of descent by varying how much you open the pressure release valve. Has the ability to creep down all the way to dropping the car.

Q: I have a 2005 corvette and am curious if this jack is low enough to fit underneath it. Anyone out there know if this will work for me???

1 Answer
  • A: It really depends on what jacking point you would like to leverage. If you use the side points of the chassis, you will have a greater chance of clearance. Please note that this trolley jack has a minimum height of 3-1/2”, so it will cater to lower profile vehicles. Make sure this height is compatible with your corvette before purchasing.
