The Metabo HPT 36V AC/DC Adaptor powers your 36V tools all day with corded convenience. Simply plug into any 120V outlet and run MultiVolt drills, saws, and more with up to 2,000W of uninterrupted power. The AC/DC adaptor's 20-ft cord provides ample maneuverability while the pivoting plug optimizes comfort and control. Perfect when portability isn't required, this power tool adaptor replicates the performance of traditional corded tools without power loss. Use it with generators or long extension cords thanks to the MultiVolt system's efficiency.

Corded Power - When you need it!

I bought this to use with our 36v Metabo miter saws and its fantastic. A little big (but they its an adapter) but otherwise no complaints. If you forget a battery or a charger, and you have this and an extension cord you are good to go!

Greatest Tool Idea EVER!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned this adapter for some time. Its so great to be able to use when you are setting up for a while or when you need to have prolonged run time and use it on your cordless tools. Great idea! Nothing else like this. All coworkers are jealous that I cut the amount of tools I carry by half as I no longer have corded tools on the truck.

Great Backup for all my 36v tools

It’s great to have this adapter when either needing a little more power with some of the tools or when you run out of batteries and the job is not done this. Though I mostly use the adapter with the table saw, I have used it on other and always happy with the performance and reliability of the adapter. The one negative I would give it is that it can over heat sometimes with the table saw when cutting hard woods that requires a mitre cut.

The best idea in battery power tools

However, this adapter allows you to run what was a cordless tool a corded tool with all day power. Now you dont use this every day, but its invaluable to have for your circular saw at the saw horses for sheet goods, or a miter saw, or a table saw.
