Q: What kind of chain does it use can you use the chain extensions used on other chain grips as Canadian tire apparently doesn't stock anything other than chainsaw chain?

A: This chain is made of 45Mn and it can be used on hand tools only. Please do not use the chain on the other tools, especially on power tools as this may cause injury.
