Broken Pad right out of the new box

I bought this week ago, new box, opened it and (installation guy) installed the garage opener with sensors until he was about to install the inside door pad controller, we found the pad screen was broken right out of the box, I bet u canadian tire selling the box after it was returned from other clients, cause i read the reviews and someone reported the same problem. Now not only the installation guy will charge extra to come back and install the new pad but also the convenience??? no inside pad installed to close the garage door, and multiple trips to canadian tire. customer service is long dead in canada, in Other countries the company will refund you your money and ask you to keep the unit and will also replace the broken part, that's a little token of saying sorry for all this trouble. but here u will see after my review an automated message from them saying contact this phone number blah blah blah. sorry not satisfied even if you replace the broken part that is not enough, Your customer service is below Zero, don't buy this product cause for sure the new box you are getting is missing parts.

Poor Plastic Construction

Set up is simple and instructions are clear. However, this product isn't even satisfactory. It performs similar to a 1/2HP opener.. the belt requires constant tightening for functioning and garage opener gears will need replacing shortly as a result of the slipping chain/belt. WiFi function does not work.. I am both mechanically and technically inclined. I had the garage door springs checked, replaced and garage door balanced prior to installation. Mastercraft product warranty is unknown and will likely require a receipt to resolve defects. I do not recommend. Save yourself time and effort.. this isn't worth the cost.

Garage Door Opener functions as you would expect a Garage Door Opener to function. Install is easy. Motor is relatively quiet. Included remotes are fine. Noma IQ is the biggest pile of garbage this side of The Pits. If you are thinking of buying this for the WiFi functionality, there is none. It is a truly awful Cloud service that will have you pulling your hair out in frustration. FFS the troubleshooting is just the New Install instructions for everything...

No, I do not recommend this product.

A: These are the instructions that might help for Homelink setup: 1) Clear the In-Car Remote by holding on to the first and third buttons for 20 seconds. Clearing the In-Car Remote will erase all previously programmed garage door openers. 2) Press and hold the Mastercraft remote button for 10 seconds until the LED flashes rapidly. 3) Choose the button on the In-Car Remote that will be used to open the door. Press and hold this chosen button until the indicator on the In-Car Remote blinks slow then fast. Once it blinks fast, release this button.
