The MaxWorks Aluminum Hitch Accessibility Carrier is designed for convenience and ease of operation when using your vehicle to transport personal mobility devices. The lightweight aluminum construction allows for quick mounting and includes an anti-tilt bracket to minimize carrier wobble. It features a 60-in (152 cm) long ramp that folds for compact storage and an extra-wide 28 x 48-in (71 x 122 cm) bed that can accommodate most mobility devices.

For the safe loading and transport of motorized wheelchairs, mobility scooters, power armchairs and more

The ramp is perfect for loading and unloading a mobility scooter because it is 6 feet long, it folds out of the way super easy when the scooter is loaded. Best mobility carrier on the market.

I wish I had kept the box so that I could return it (I didn't have room for the cardboard). It's light enough to work for what I need, but is difficult to attach to the hitch. It has an extra brace piece that has to be attached.

Q: What are the inside dimensions of the carrier? It lists the outside dimensions as 30" wide and 53 1/2" long. Wondering if it will fit a snow blower that is 29 1/4" wide. Canadian Tire does not have any assembled in the store to check the measurement.

A: The web site Description and specifications will give you all the info you need to make a wise purchase. I found the measurements in the specs and was fortunate enough to only have a small electric wheel chair.

A: As long as the item fits within the interior dimensions of the carrier then yes, it will be suitable to transport the object(s). I have transported a small chest freezer and other objects which fit inside. I currently use the carrier to transport my 4-wheeled scooter, which weighs about 200 lbs., without any problems.

A: There are 2 working positions and 1 idle position for this product: Working Position #1 - when you are loading a wheelchair, ramp is folded down; Working position #2 - when the carrier is loaded with wheelchair or other applicable contents, ramp is folded up; Idle position - when nothing is loaded, ramp is folded in.
