The MAXIMUM Metal Grinding Disc is recommended for grinding down ferrous metals, or for making rougher cuts through other thick or difficult materials. The durable wheel is constructed from an innovative resinoid bonded with aluminum-oxide for optimal resistance to damage, allowing you to cut through tough materials with ease. This high-speed disc uses arbours reinforced with metal to achieve compatibility with any cutting machines that features an appropriately-sized bore. This MAXIMUM grinding disc’s impressive rotational speed can allow it to act as an effective grinding wheel when fitted onto a compatible grinding tool.

Q: What is Arbor size? Picture says 7/8" but Specs Say 5/8".

A: The MAXIMUM 4-1/2" x 1/4” x 7/8” Metal Grinding Wheel (054-1852) has a 7/8” Bore to fit most standard size 5/8”-11 thread spindle. Most 4-1/2” angle grinder will have a 5/8”-11 thread spindle and the grinding wheel should be used with the spindle backing plate that will have a 7/8” flange.
