Missing 6mm

Just purchased this set yesterday, was organizing them and noticed that there were two 7mm wrenches included and no 6mm, box states there shoud be one 7mm and one 6mm. Went back to the store for a replacement, was told that 6mm are not available and that all the boxes would contain two 7mm. Didn't feel like arguing so I left. Just want others to note that you likely won't be getting a 6mm.

Maximum tools good for occasional home use with less cost than other brands

This was purchased as gift but my own set is 10 yrs old and still in great shape. I like the ability to ratchet on and off faster and works most of the time in smaller spaces.

Q: Missing sizes in combination sets. It would be nice if a person wishing to own a complete could purchase the missing sizes like 1 1/16, 9mm, or 20mm to have a complete set of SAE from 1/4 to 1 1/8 and Metric from 6mm to 22mm sizes.

- A: Although the missing sizes can't be purchased directly from Canadian Tire, GearWrench (the company CT has manufacturer this set for them) produces those sizes and many more. Their website can be found easily by Googling GearWrench. Their tools won't be dual-branded (Mastercract Maximum on one side with GearWrench on the other), but they're otherwise identical and match the wrenches in this set perfectly.10 years agoHelpful?

Q: Are these 12 or 6 point? For a ratcheting design it makes more sense to go with 6 point design. Unless, gear mechanism isn't strong enough to handle extra torque that could be applied with a 6 point.

Q: Are these supposed to be 0° wrenches meaning perfectly flat from one end to the other? I bought a set and only 5 of them were a true 0° so I'm just wondering if it's 25 of them that are misshapen or just the 5 are? To me it wouldn't make sense to make a non-reversible wrench have a bit of an offset.
