most people who leave bad reviews here are highly non knowledgeable or liars purposely low rating ,competition I presume,I have this little toy for a while and I love it ...15 years in electrical and wish I found this gem earlier...as a matter of fact wish I would have checked all these cheaper stuff way earlier,I wasted tons of money on brands that do same job if not worse ... could save so much money...

Q: Does this multimeter act as a non-contact voltage tester as well?

A: According to the manual: "Move the tip of the meter near the voltage source or conductor. If the voltage detected is greater than 110VAC, the buzzer will beep and the NCV indicator near the tip of the meter will flash."
