First One Defective but Replacement Worked Great

I bought this cup wheel and the single row cup wheel on separate days. In both cases the first one I bought was defective (caused a ton of vibration, meaning the cup was likely out of balance). After exchanging each one for a different one (they have numbers on the front, likely lot numbers, so pick a different one), they both work very well. Maybe I was just unlucky but I'm very happy with their performance now that I have 2 good ones. For reference, the double row chews threw concrete much faster so if you need a finer grind, get the single row cup.

Q: If I use this on a 054-7151 Mastercraft grinder do I use a backing flange?

A: Does not work with entry level grinders like 054-8809-2 from Mastercraft. Due to the threads on this cup wheel, it does not allow you to use the threaded clamp nut, even with the backing flange removed. So that is a safety hazard from what i can tell. As per the manual, it illustrates using a 1/8"-1/4" disc for grinding.

Q: Canadian Tire sells this double row diamond wheel and another one called a Turbo. Which one will remove concrete the fastest? The name "Turbo" implies it might be faster, but there's not enough info the description of either wheel to know for sure.

A: I've used the double row to make a rock sink and it's still working. Cut pretty well. haven't used the Turbo.
