Maximum Roof nailer

Don't waste your time buying this pathetic excuse of a roofing gun. It broke in the first 3 hours of use. and when I went to get a refund they refused to give me my money back and only gave me in store credit.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Great tool

Did everything it needed to do. Have just redone our roof with 2200 square feet of shingles. About 6000 nails went through the gun with only one jam, which took just 10 seconds to remedy. Added bonus of the air coupling being the correct fitting right out of the box.

Questions

1 - 5 of 5 Questions

Q: Can this roofing nail gun be used for siding?

1 Answer
  • A: I attempted to use this nailer to put on siding, when backed right off the depth was good but I had difficulty lining up with the notch in the siding.  With practice it could be possible and far faster but at the cost of possibly damaging some siding.

Q: It's mentioned that there is a special warranty for this nailer. What kind of warranty is that or what does that covers. Thanks.

1 Answer
  • A: Thanks for reaching out! The Special Warranty can be found on the last four pages of this product's manual. It would be referring to the "90-Day Satisfaction Guarantee", "1-Year Repair Warranty" and "5-Year Limited Warranty". Depending on which stage you might fall under, you'd be able to contact your local Canadian Tire for more information on how to proceed.

Q: There is another trigger with this nailer & it"s different form the one on it, but nothing in the owners manual to say what it is used for.

1 Answer
  • A: The secondary trigger is utilized to change the firing modes for this product to bump to sequential (single shot) firing mode. Please see attached instructions for how to change triggers. Please note for newer versions of this nailer you no longer require to manually change triggers. Instead the mode is changed via a toggle switch built into the unit.
